Litchibari Eco Resort is a lodging facility that takes active step toward environmental sustainability and responsibility by helping its natural surrounding and the local community.
Lichibari Eco Resort has very simple but traditional cottages / villas that are made of different types of bamboo and mud with the necessary amenities. The resort also has a number of standard AC building rooms for the convenience of the guests. These cottages and villas are situated on a small hillock which creates a different hilly feeling in everyone’s mind.
Litchibari Eco Resort is located in the heart of Srimangal (Bhanugach Road, Radhanagar) 4k.m. east of Srimongal town, surrounded by greenery, natural and noise-free environment. Srimangal is located about 180k.m. from Dhaka and about 86k.m. from the north-eastern division of Syhlet. It will take about 4-5 hours to reach Srimangal directly by private car, train, bus from Dhaka. And it will take about 2.5 hours to reach Srimangal by private car, bus or train from Sylhet.
Welcome to Litchibari Eco Resort if you want to spend quality time with friends, family, relatives and loved ones as like your own home in the midst of clean air and green surroundings, away from the polluted air and busy life with urban mechanical noise. At this resort you will find traditional bamboo cottages, mud houses mixed with village traditions and AC building rooms have also been arranged for the convenience of many.
Litchibari Eco Resort serves fresh food all the time. In order to always serve fresh food, cooking is started at least two hours before the food is ordered. No food is stored here in advance. Cooking at the resort is done through the traditional wood stove which keeps the taste and quality of the cooking intact. In addition to the complimentary breakfast in the morning, lunch and dinner are also available. It also has a night bar BQ which will make your stay at the resort more memorable. It is certain that there will be no comparison with the taste and quality of the food at the resort.
Not only is Srimangal known for the beauty of its rugged hills and rain forests, but boasts a diverse fauna in its verdant rain forests. Litchibari Eco Resort offers you the advantage of being located near some of Srimangal’s best known attractions: The Manipur and Khasia aboriginal communities, Tea Gardens, Madhabpur lake and of course the Lauachhara National Park, famous for its fauna which includes monkeys and gibbons among many other exotic animals. Moreover those who like thrilling trails can visit Humhum waterfalls in Rajkandi Forest.
The resort has a veranda / balcony with all cottages and villas. If anyone wants, it is possible to spend the whole day sitting on this veranda / balcony with a cup of tea in hand and realizing the beauty of nature and with our sincere service.
